"Apple Jam's stellar performances of these songs make Off the Beatle Track sound like a long-lost Fab Four album" (★★★★1/2) - Goldmine
"Off the Beatle Track is like a missing Fabs album (all thumbs up) - BBC Merseyside Radio - Jukebox Jury "Its a wierd concept, taking songs the Beatles wrote but didn't record, then recording them as they might have. But it works nicely" - Vintage Guitar Magazine “This is the most significant non-Beatles Beatles album ever made" - Rip Rense (Beatles scholar) "The album radiates the natural exuberance of musicians who have steeped themselves so thoroughly in the early Beatles sound that they can reproduce it instinctively" - Heritage Music Review |

OFF THE BEATLE TRACK showcases songs the Beatles composed in the early sixties, but never released as a working band. The songs instead were given to other British artists, who in turn produced a sizable body of hits.
"We used the same microphones, gear, and studio techniques of the period. Our goal was to make the album sound just like an early Beatles record, between WITH THE BEATLES and A HARD DAY'S NIGHT," says founding member Rick Lovrovich. Apple Jam masterfully recreates the authentic sound of the Beatles, while staying true to their own remarkable stage persona. Apple Jam has sold out shows at major venues in Seattle, and most recently headlined Beatle Week 2009 in Liverpool (300,000 attendees annually). Apple Jam formed in 2005 in support of (Just Like) Starting Over, a stage play based on John Lennon's final interview. |
